Yes, it is time to celebrate Nigeria but the struggle continues
The struggle continues till our voices are heard
The struggle continues till we are fairly represented in governance
The struggle continues till women are given a chance to be part of the decision process that affects their lives
The night has lingered for too long
Let us arise, let our voices be heard
Let’s close the gender gap
Together we struggle for a better Nigeria for the woman, for every Nigerian
Till then and only till then can the Nigerian woman truly say
“Our Uhuru has come!”
